Everfoton is a vertically integrated fiber laser manufacturer. In December 2021, Yangtze Optical Fibre and Cable Joint Stock Limited Company (stock code: 601869.SH, 06869.HK) spun off all fiber laser-related businesses of materials, optical fibers and components into Everfoton. In April 2022, Nanjing Fiberfoton Technologies Co., Ltd. (Fiberfoton) merged with Everfoton and became its wholly owned subsidiary. Fiberfoton has been producing fiber lasers for many years, and processes leading technologies in pumps and fiber lasers.

Master the key technology of the whole industry chain

Everfoton produces double-cladding and triple-cladding active fiber and passive fiber in large on the basis of the PCVD and MCVD preform fabrication platforms. In addition to the internationally leading rare-earth doped technology, Everfoton successfully developed the triple-cladding active fiber, the first of its kind in China, in 2018. Everfoton also boasts a platform, which is the largest in China in terms of production capacity, that fabricates a full range of passive fibers for lasers with advanced technologies.

 

Everfoton owns key technologies concerning key assemblies and components of lasers, including pump package, FBG, fiber combiner and QBH.

Milestones of Everfoton
2022

YOFC subsidiary and Fiberfoton merged into Everfoton. Everfoton completed the vertical integration of the industrial chain, becoming one of the few laser enterprises in the world with the ability to vertically integrate laser, components and the entire laser.

2021

YOFC spun off fiber laser-related materials, fibers, and components businesses, and established an independent subsidiary.

2020

Fiberfoton moved from Suzhou to Jiangbei New District, Nanjing.

China's first knapsack fiber laser handheld welding machine was launched.

2019

YOFC made breakthroughs in optical components such as combiners and QBH, and achieved mass production.

2018

YOFC took the lead in developing triple-cladding active fiber in China.

Fiberfoton set up R&D and production center in Suzhou.

2017

Fiberfoton established a fiber laser R&D and production center in Taiwan, China, and launched high power fiber laser.
